Set in beautiful gardens with wonderful sea views from its two spacious decks, Mara is a modern, roomy and airy house on the outskirts of the idyllic fishing village of Portloe. A short walk down the hill finds a good local pub, the award winning Lugger Hotel, and one of the most scenic stretches of the coastal path waiting to be explored. Recently completely refurbished throughout, the house has flexible and extremely comfortable accommodation with three power shower-rooms and a bathroom to complement the four bedrooms, all of which have twin beds that can be made up as 6' doubles if preferred. The well stocked garden is steeply terraced with several linked by steps, and there is a choice of two large decks (fenced and gated to protect small children) as well as a paved terrace to sit and relax and enjoy the views across the village out to sea. There is a parking space for at least four cars. The beautiful beaches at Carne and Pendower are close by and the golf course at St. Austell is approximately 20 minutes drive.

The well equipped kitchen area has beech fitted units with granite effect worktops, electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher and microwave. Telephone for incoming calls. The Dining area has a long pale wooden table with elegant high backed dining chairs and overlooks the decking with views towards the sea. The large Sitting room is decorated in light, neutral shades with a pair of comfortable sofas flanking the open fire, and several easy chairs, TV with DVD and Sky TV with sports channel. There is a sliding door onto the terraced garden with a path to the summerhouse and paved terrace. Also off the sitting room is a Snug room with large sofa and a further TV/DVD, ideal for childrens viewing. Bedroom 3 has twin beds and large sliding glass doors onto the spacious decking with sea views. Bedroom 4 with twin beds and Ensuite Shower room with power shower, WC and wash hand basin. Bathroom with bath, power shower, WC and wash hand basin. Heating Oil fired central heating Linen is provided and the beds made up ready for your arrival. Please bring your own towels. Towels available for hire Electricity included in the rent.
