Ideally situated in the heart of St.Mawes, only a short stroll to the sea, village shops and restaurants, this stylishly converted cottage decorated throughout in natural Farrow & Ball colours sleeps six. Arranged over three floors with sea views from the top floor Cutty Sark has a wonderfully cosy welcoming atmosphere and is a perfect coastal retreat all year round.

A short flight of steps from the road leads up to the port holed door which opens into a small hallway area with coat hooks and basket for shoes. Adjacent is the downstairs Cloakroom with W.C and wash basin. A glazed door leads into the spacious Living/Dining room which is partially wood floored and the rest carpeted. At this end of the room is a large oval wooden dining table with leather seats for 8. Distressed painted dresser with a collection of candles and storm lanterns. Telephone for incoming and local outgoing calls. Broadband. A large squashy sofa and a wood burning stove at the other end of the room are the perfect place to curl up and retire to after supper or simply to catch up on a bit of holiday reading. Two upholstered chairs and small side table are located in the window alcove. The window overlooks the compact front terrace and has a blind and thick curtains for wintry evenings. TV/DVD. Good selection of CD's/DVD's and books. A glazed door leads to the Kitchen which has a slate floor and is fitted with cream units and granite worktops and is very well equipped with two electric ovens, electric hob, fridge and dishwasher. An attractive Lloyd Loom style table and four chairs give extra dining space. A small Utility room contains a washing machine, table top freezer and microwave. Carpeted stairs from the living/dining room lead to the first floor landing off which is Bedroom 1 containing a set of bunk beds, bookshelf and large cupboard for storage. The Bathroom opposite has a bath with Mira shower over, WC , basin and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2 Master bedroom with king sized bed that can also be made up as twins (please request when booking), good sized fitted cupboards, chest of drawers, TV, window seat with glimpses of the sea. From the landing the stairs wind up to the Top Floor which also has glimpses of the sea from the dormer window there is a small desk here where one can sit and read or just watch the world below.
The Shower Room has a large tiled shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Bedroom 3 with double bed, sloping ceilings and built in wardrobe. A fire escape door leads out to the rear of the property. Outside A Gas BBQ is provided to the rear of the parking area and there is a narrow terrace along the front of the cottage. Heating & Electricity Oil Fired central heating and electricity included in the rent. Linen & towels are provided and the beds made up ready for your arrival. Parking There is off road parking for one car. Please note this is not suitable for low vehicles or sports cars but the village car park is only a five minute walk from the property.
