The fantastic location of Quay Cottage is every holidaymaker's dream - situated at the end of a private track this traditional cottage is perched at the edge of the woods above the tidal Percuil river, with wonderful views over the water towards St Mawes. A truly magical and idyllic spot with its own quay and no near neighbours, it is ideal for a quiet and restful holiday away from the noise and bustle of popular tourist towns and villages.

NEW PROPERTY -The 17th century fisherman's cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is accessed by means of a series of steps from the parking area at the rear of the cottage. Door to Utility area with slate floor, washing machine and ceramic sink. Adjacent is a fully tiled shower room with shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail. A step down from the utility through an open doorway is the light and spacious open plan Kitchen/dining room with newly fitted kitchen units. Ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge/freezer. The dining area, which has lovely views of the river though the adjacent bay window, has an attractive wooden table and chairs seating 8. The Sitting room which runs the full length of the cottage is traditionally furnished with plenty of comfortable chairs and a sofa (which is a fully sprung sofa bed) There are windows on two sides allowing fine views of the water and countryside beyond. A TV/DVD is situated at one end of the room and heating is by electric heaters. Selection of books and games. The half glazed front door leads onto the sunny paved patio with outdoor table and chairs, BBQ and superb views towards St Mawes and the creek. The wooden stairs are situated at one corner of the living room and lead to the upstairs bedrooms which are carpeted throughout. Bedroom 1 with a lovely view over the creek has a 5ft double bed. Bedroom 2 A twin bedded room with a fantastic dual aspect over the water. Washbasin with cupboards under. From the bedrooms a hall leads to the recently fitted Bathroom Tiled throughout, it has a large walk in shower, bath, washbasin, WC and heated towel rail. Adjacent to the bathroom is Bedroom 3 Children's room with single 2' 6" bed with further stowaway bed under. A further mid level single bed is built in with shelves underneath Garden Outside the cottage - a former pilchard cellar, has plenty of sitting spaces including a paved terrace, a secluded walled lawned area and further grassed areas leading to the quay where there are steps and slip for boat access. NB please be aware that there are a series of precipitous drops in the gardens and surrounding woodland and additionally there is unprotected water access- children should therefore be supervised at all times Mooring for one boat at the entrance to Porth Creek (dries out at low tide) Linen and towels are provided and the beds made up ready for your arrival.Heating Portable electric heating and electricity included in the rent. Parking The parking area is situated at the end of the private track way in the woodland to the rear of the house.
